Day 30, 23 July, Enney – Krattigen, 47kms.

Overnight was very cold, getting down to 7 degrees, so we started out in the shade feeling very chilly.
The ride was quite hilly, through mainly rural areas, with beautiful scenery.  Some of the hills were quite “challenging” and during the late morning we found a headwind again!
When we got to Gstaad we decided to catch the train as the mountains only got more challenging.  After an hour on the train we arrived at Speiz, we then rode on to our camp which was mainly uphill.  When we thought we had finally reached the camp we still had more uphill to go!
The camp had a fantastic outlook over the lake and once again the facilities were great and the campground was in immaculate condition.
We have decided the Swiss are a very cultured race as even their public toilets are second to none, offering toilet paper, hot and cold water, soap and hand towels.
